After over a decade together, Amber and Jason celebrated their wedding day at The Hummingbird Chateau. Their fall wedding day was a beautiful blend of intentional traditions and vintage touches while staying true to themselves.
The week leading up to Amber and Jason’s wedding day, we had nothing but rain. You can bet I brought all of my ten clear umbrellas, but luckily they weren’t even needed! Amber’s mom declared that the sun would come out just in time for pictures.
And I don’t know what weather gods she summoned but she was 100% right. As soon as Amber was dressed, the clouds seemed to disappear and the sun came out.
The Hummingbird Chateau is a one of a kind, vintage masterpiece. When the owners renovated the property, they felt it was the perfect space to incorporate many of their beloved vintage pieces. Angela and Leah have bonded over their love for thrifting.
The manor house beautifully combines eclectic, vintage, and funky in the best way. Guests can also see these touches in the barn and it’s furniture, even the bathrooms are beautifully designed!
This could be seen in their getting ready spaces and during Amber’s first look with her dad. It was an emotional moment for the two of them. As well as her mom and sisters who watched from the doorway, tears in their eyes.
Amber and Jason decided it was most special for them not to see each other before their ceremony. Deciding not to do a first look and save the surprise for the aisle. Jason’s reaction was priceless.
Amber and Jason met in high school through mutual friends and went to Junior prom together. Now after over a decade together, they are tying the knot! Their friends and family all felt like one, having known each other for years already.
Before the party really got underway, Amber and Jason took a few moments privately in the manor house. Sitting on the stairwell laughing with each other and celebrating just the two of them.
Even when I first talked to Amber and Jason, I knew they were looking forward to dancing with all of their friends and family during their reception.
And they did just that. Jeremiah with Toussaint Productions kept the dance floor packed from beginning to end. The couple then capped off their Hummingbird Chateau wedding day with a sparkler exit.
