So Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching… not to freak you out!  If that statement just stressed you out, stick around. Today I’m sharing fourteen (I had to) date night ideas for Valentine’s day. But to be honest you can also do these any time during the winter, you don’t need a special holiday to celebrate each other.

And I’ll be real, my guy and I aren’t much for doing big things or going out, so writing this was not easy! We would much rather order dinner in than eat that same food out. I think it’s just one of those things that stuck with us during covid lockdowns. We got used to getting food to-go and then never really went back. I mean, eating sushi while watching netflix just sounds way better anyways!

Fourteen date ideas for your Valentine’s Day

  1. Go skiing or snowboarding, then cozy up by the fireplace with a hot cup of cocoa

  2. Have a spa day or you can save a little money and create your own spa day at home

  3. Build a pillow fort and have a cozy movie night in with all the sweets and popcorn

  4. Have some drinks at WC Harlan, a 1920s-vibe speak easy in Baltimore

  5. Pick a new recipe to cook dinner together at home. Don’t be shy, get fancy!

  6. Go out to dinner. Get fancy at a nice restaurant OR if a fancy restaurant isn’t in the budget, dress up and head to Chick-Fil-A. It’s always nice to get dressed up no matter where you go!

  7. Throw some axes at Urban Axes in Baltimore. You might be surprised at how good you are!

  8. Bundle up and head outside for a hike in the woods. Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean outdoor activities have to stop. Also gives you an excuse to warm up with coffee or booze afterwards

  9. Head to Reckless Shepherd Brewing Co for great beer and games, plus their food is amazing!

  10. Bowl ten frames at Bowlero, bonus points for every strike you get!

  11. Enjoy authentic german cuisine at Das Bierhalle

  12. Relive your first date over again, awkwardness an all!

  13. See who’s the better Go Kart racer at Autobahn Indoor Speedway

  14. Have a night away from home in a five star hotel room, drink some wine, and relax in the cozy robes.

I hope you have a great Valentine’s Day celebrating your love together. I’d love to know what you are up to so drop a comment below!

Until next time, xoxo Nicole
