A warm embrace.
A sweet kiss on the cheek.
A moment to snuggle.
For Katy and Dylan’s winter engagement session these actions were all the more sweeter. Starting their sunrise session it was around 35 degrees. It was chilly! But these two were such troopers and had such a great session.
If you are thinking about doing a photo session in the winter, I say go for it! Don’t let the cold hold you back. We can incorporate ways to stay warm and still get beautiful images for you! One suggestion is to bundle up, and wear those cute pea coats, scarves, and hats. You can get all nice and snuggly while shooting to create some super cute photos. And we’ll take breaks as needed. Your session allows enough time to take a few minutes to warm up in the car.
Katy and Dylan were set up through family and had their first date at Panera. They connected instantly and shut the place down. No for real, a Panera worker had to tell them they were closing. They also have the sweetest engagement story. Dylan set up a bunch of Christmas lights at the farm. After them being out all day, they stopped at the farm where Dylan turned on all the lights and popped the question!
Katy and Dylan, thank you for braving the cold with me! It was such a treat to get to photograph you both. I know Dylan is not a huge fan of taking photos, but you did great! I absolutely loved getting to photograph at Dylan’s farm. I am so excited to share in your wedding in June. I hope you enjoyed your warm coffee afterwards!
Until next time, xoxo Nicole
