I had an absolute blast with Victoria and Jacob for their engagement session at Cold Saturday Farm. I loved getting to know them both more and getting insight into who they are as a couple. They both have a way of being able to easily make the other one laugh, which was perfect for capturing authentic moments between the two of them.

I won’t lie, they were both a little nervous for their session, because let’s be real, getting photographed is uncomfortable – even for me! After a few minutes chatting before getting started and guiding them throughout the session, they were naturals! And Victoria was up for anything, including running through the tall grass field and spending time bringing back childhood memories on the swings.

Victoria and Jacob met in college at a greek life party, when ironically, Victoria was crying over another boy and Jacob stepped in to cheer her up. They went to a formal event together a few weeks later and the rest is history!

They say they are fiances but best friends first. It truly shows as they love having fun with each other, whether it’s traveling, watching football or cooking a meal together. We chatted about their many trips they have taken together, including their recent trip to South Africa.

I cannot wait for their wedding back again at Cold Saturday Farm in May of 2025. The design aesthetic: simple, elegant and modern rustic with white flowers and champagne and black accents, feelings of fun, timelessness, and natural. Check back next year to see their wedding day!
