Picture this: you google “Baltimore Wedding Photographer” and get hundreds of results. So where do you even begin to pick one?! Today I’m sharing my tips for choosing the wedding photographer for you!
Do you like their work?
Do you like the photographer’s style? Every photographer has a different way of posing, using light, capturing moments, and editing. If you are looking for a specific style, find a photographer who has that style. If there are specific aspects that are important to you, like details for example, find a photographer who places emphasis on details. Your wedding photos will be one of the few physical memories you’ll have from the wedding day so you want to make sure you’ll like them.
Do you like them?
You will spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day, so you want to make sure you like them beyond their work. Do you connect with them on a personal level? It is always a great idea to have a call with your potential photographer so you can get to know each other. You are more than your wedding day and I want to know who you both are!
Do they offer everything you’re looking for? Is it in your budget?
This may include hours of coverage the day of, an additional photographer, engagement sessions, and products such as albums, prints, and wall art. You are investing a good amount of money in your wedding photography, so you should get everything you want! In addition to everything you want, make sure it fits your budget.
