For this wedding editorial shoot at The Heron Room Baltimore, we leaned into our favorite things about summers in Maryland. With snowballs as dessert, warm weather, Fisher’s Popcorn and Black Eyed Susans, both the flower and the official drink of the Preakness Stakes.
Indoors the floral design echoed the Jones Falls just outside with cascading florals among a meadow of blooms. The suspended floral installation anchored the design, bringing dimension, and softening the industrial space of The Heron Room.
We wanted to bring the care-free spirit we feel during the summer into this editorial shoot.
