Katy & Dylan’s wedding at Foggy Bottom Farm on June 10. So much love surrounded them!
While Katy was deciding on her final jewelry, because she couldn’t decide if she was going to wear a necklace or which bracelet to wear. Well, in comes her mom, Nina, to help her decide. Katy’s grandmother recently passed away. Before she passed, she bought a necklace for Katy to wear on her wedding day. Nina surprised Katy with the necklace as well as a few options for bracelets that were her grandmothers. Though not physically there, she with Katy on her wedding day.
Katy chose to do first looks with all of the important men in her life. That included her father, step father, brother, and grandfather Poppy. Now each of these were equally special. However, her time with Poppy was extra special. Leading up to the wedding the family wasn’t sure if Poppy would be able to make it to the wedding for health reasons. Well, the family pulled together to get Poppy to the wedding.
Right before the ceremony, Katy was surrounded by her bridesmaids and mom shared in a prayer to bless Katy, Dylan, and their marriage. It was such a powerful and beautiful moment.
Katy and Dylan, thank you so much for trusting me to photograph this special moment! It was truly an honor to share in your day. I loved both your positive attitudes throughout the entire day. There was not one moment you both weren’t smiling. Congratulations! I can’t wait to watch your love story grow!
